The local market
Town of Mount Royal (Ville-Mont-Royal) is a municipality separate from the City of Montreal, planned in the early 20th century on the garden-city model. Its star-shaped layout, many parks and quiet residential streets make it a highly sought-after place to live.
Single-family homes, often spacious and in a variety of styles, largely dominate, with some condos and apartment buildings near the commercial areas. Supply is limited and properties differ a lot in condition and renovations.
